An update on a story from the summer.
A Barnstable District Court Judge has dismissed an assault charge against a 53 year old man from Mashpee because the complainant refused to testify claiming a violation of his 5th Amendment rights.
Amick, according to court documents was arrested after he threatened the alleged victim with a sharp object after a verbal confrontation.
