Tropical Storm Watch In Effect For Cape And Islands

A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for The Cape from Provincetown to Nantucket now until further notice. 

If the Category 3 hurricane follows its current track then it is likely to pass within 130 miles southeast of Nantucket Saturday as a Category 1 hurricane with winds of 90 miles per hour. 

Dorian will likely strike the region with winds between 40 and 60 miles per hour causing downed trees and power lines.

1 to 4 inches of rain. The experts tell us they are not expecting any significant coastal flooding or property damage.

They are expecting 20 foot seas.
