In Mashpee, the State Fire Marshal says a fire earlier this month of Trout Brook Road was improper disposal of smoking materials.
The fire marshal says as you move smokers from inside of the home to outside of the home, people are becoming more careless in throwing out their smokes.
No one was hurt in the fire.
