Barnstable County Commissioners are likely to vote on a measure this week which would install a shark detection system as a way to ease the concerns over residents at area beaches.
You will recall that commissioners heard the initial stages of the idea earlier this year. Now it is expected to be presented formally.
It is unlikely that whatever is approved will be on line in time for this season.
