AFCC Honors CCH President and CEO, Michael Lauf

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC) will recognize Cape Cod Healthcare President and CEO Michael Lauf at its Prelude to Summer celebration for his commitment to strengthening arts and culture in our region.

AFCC Executive Director Julie Wake said Lauf supports the arts on the Cape because he understands they are necessary to the health, well-being, and vitality of the community.

Cape Cod Healthcare is funding the first two years of AFCC Access, a program launched last September which connects economically disadvantaged children between the ages of 7 and 17 to artistic and cultural opportunities in the region.

Lauf will be feted by the AFCC, which selected him to serve as the honorary chair of its Prelude to Summer, on Thursday, June 6th, at the Hyannisport Club. The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the AFCC and a precursor to the 34th Annual Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert in August.

Tickets to a Prelude to Summer, which will include a chef’s tasting and live entertainment by Funktapuss, can be purchased at www.artsfoundation.org.
