A Nantucket woman is facing charges for allegedly punching a man in the face because she didn’t like the way the man was looking at her.
26-year old Shannon Gonzalez of Somerset Road was arraigned in Nantucket District Court on Monday on two charges of assault and battery on a family or household member stemming from the January 28th incident.
According to police records, the alleged victim said Gonzalez began yelling at him for looking at parts of her body, a charge the victim denies. The victim says Gonzalez poked his face several times before punching him once.
