The Yarmouth Police Department is thanking an anonymous Cape Cod donor who bought 50 tickets and provided a bus so the men and women of the YPD could attend Wednesday night’s Red Sox-Rangers game at Fenway Park.
Deputy Police Chief Steven Xiarhos says the Red Sox put a message on the giant video board that said “Welcome Yarmouth Police Officers Honoring the Memory of Canine Unit Officer Sean Gannon.”
Xiarhos says they remembered Sean and had many laughs and shared countless stories and that it was exactly what the YPD needed.
