Town of Barnstable July 4th Events Schedule

The Town of Barnstable along with the Town of Barnstable Fourth of July Committee, is pleased to introduce the all new Town of Barnstable Fourth of July Celebration including six full hours of jam-packed, nonstop programming and family-friendly entertainment.

9am Barnstable/West Barnstable - The Barnstable-West Barnstable July 4th Parade and Celebration will commence at the County Complex on Railroad Avenue with an 8:30am gathering time; proceed down Main Street (Route 6A); left onto Mill Way and continue to the Village Hollow where it will end for various activities. Presented by the Barnstable Village Civic Association and the West Barnstable Civic Association.

10am Centerville - The parade will form on the grounds of Centerville Elementary School and proceed up Bay Lane, take a right onto Bumps River Road; left onto Park Avenue; right onto Main Street; and continue to the Centerville Recreation Building where it will end. Presented by the Bay Lane PTA at Centerville Elementary School and Centerville Civic Association.

11am Cotuit - The parade will begin at the Cotuit Post Office, proceed down School Street to Main Street; left on Main Street to the rear entrance of the Waldorf School (formerly Cotuit Elementary School), where it will end. Presented by the Cotuit Civic Association.

11am Hyannisport - Following the Hyannisport Beach Club 2K Run at 9am, the parade will line up and begin at the Hyannisport Post Office on Longwood Avenue; left on to Washington Avenue; right onto Lafayette Avenue; left onto Winchester Avenue; left onto Scudder Avenue; and continue onto Dale Avenue to the West Beach Club, where it will end. Presented by the West Beach Club.

2pm Hyannis Inner Harbor Boat Parade - Hyannis Marina invites all to a July 4th boat parade. The best viewing is along Ocean Street at Hyannis Harbor. If you are a boater and want to participate, the boats assemble off of Hyannis Yacht Club and head to the inner harbor to show off their red, white and blue at approximately 2pm. 4pm Hyannis: Main Street Parade - The Parade will begin promptly at 4pm at the corner of Ocean Street and travel along Main Street for a half mile, ending at the corner of Sea Street. From the east end to west end of Main Street and down to the waterfront, residents and visitors alike will enjoy the annual parade, concerts, and fireworks, and new additions with street performers, musicians, family lawn games, jugglers, face painting, free trolley rides around the Village Green, and more.

5-7pm Town Band entertains on the Village Green, Hyannis - Family lawn games, free rides by the Roaming Railroad, Nicholas Suchecki Jazz Quartet, The Suspenders – Juggling Duo, Soloist Musician, Michael Fenuccio, Soloist Musician Jordan Renzi.

7pm Pre-Fireworks Concert featuring JO&CO at Aselton Park - a fun, family friendly dance band playing top hits spanning decades!

9pm Fireworks from a barge in Lewis Bay*

*Rain date for fireworks only, Saturday, September 1, 2018.
