Power Outage Hits Cape's "Elbow"

Several thousand Eversource customers on Cape Cod were without power on Sunday afternoon.

The main areas affected were Chatham and Orleans with scattered outages in Brewster and Harwich. All told, about 3,700 customers were affected.

A pole fire in the area allegedly the cause, which remains under investigation.

All customers have had their power restored.
