M/V Martha's Vineyard Back in Service

The Steamship Authority says the M/V Martha’s Vineyard is back in service. The ferry was cleared this morning by the Coast Guard to resume its operating schedule and normal route between Woods Hole and the Vineyard.

Before the vessel even started its first run on Wednesday, a tripped breaker put it out of commission until repairs could be made.

The M/V Woods Hole remains sidelined due to mechanical issues. That ferry remains at the SSA’s maintenance facility in Fairhaven undergoing repairs.
