More SSA Ferry Problems

The Steamship Authority ferry M/V Martha’s Vineyard is out of service once again, joining the M/V Woods Hole on the sidelines.

Due to a mechanical fault during the M/V Martha’s Vineyard’s start-up this morning, the Steamship Authority had to cancel its 6:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. trips from Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole and its 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. return trips from Woods Hole to the island.

For walk-on passengers, the SeaStreak high-speed passenger-only vessel will provide service between Woods Hole and Vineyard Haven later today.  The SSA will post an update when we receive an estimated time of arrival.

The SSA says it deeply regret the inconvenience this may cause, and will provide an update as we get more information.
