Wong Arrested a Second Time on Sex Crimes Charges

A man arrested by Yarmouth Police last August for sexual crimes involving upskirting has been arrested again for similar crimes.

David Wong, 50, of New Bedford, was arrested on January 5 following an extensive investigation that revealed numerous other incidents of upskirting and other secret recordings in several communities including Falmouth. Wong was working as a self-employed cleaner at various homes and businesses all over southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Wong, who was out on bail pending trial from the previous charges, was tracked down and arrested by members of the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section in New Bedford.

He is currently being held in the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne on $10,000 cash bail. The case remains active and additional charges are expected.
