Wanted Wednesday Subject Found, Arrested in Hyannis


Police from Yarmouth and Barnstable joined forces recently to arrest a Yarmouth PD “Wanted Wednesday” subject.

Rashad A. Copper, 34, was arrested Friday at a residence at 62 Baxter Road in Hyannis. Copper was booked at Barnstable Police headquarters and Yarmouth Police headquarters and taken directly to Barnstable District Court where he was arraigned on charges of Felony Possession with Intent to Distribut Class B Cocaine, Conspiracy to Violate the Massachusetts Drug Laws, Felony Possession with intent to Distribute Class B Cocaine, subsequent offense, Felony Drug violation in a School Zone, and Felony Distribution Class B Cocaine.

Copper became the subject of the Yarmouth PD “Wanted Wednesday” program when he failed to show up in court after being arrested and bailed on felony drug distribution charges on October 12.
