Gas Prices Down From a Week Ago


The price of gasoline in Massachusetts is down from a week ago.

AAA Northeast, in its weekly survey released Monday, found self-serve regular unleaded averaging $2.65 per gallon, down five cents from last week. That is three cents higher than the national average of $2.62. One year ago, the average price of self-serve regular was $2.10.

AAA says the range in price for unleaded regular is 30-cents, from a low of $2.49 to a high of $2.79.
