One person was killed and two others suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash just before 3 o’clock on Route 130 in Mashpee Tuesday afternoon.
Mashpee Police and Fire Rescue with assistance from Falmouth Fire Rescue arrived on scene and found two pickup trucks had crashed into each other.
In one truck was a 51-year old woman from Mashpee and a 6-year old girl. Both were taken to Falmouth Hospital where the woman died from her injuries. The girl suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The woman driving the other truck also suffered serious injuries. She was taken to South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.
