Drug Tests Negative on Ferry Operators


The U.S. Coast Guard says drug tests conducted on the captain and pilot of the Steamship Authority’s high-speed ferry, the MV Iyanough that crashed into the Hyannis Harbor breakwater last weekend, have come back negative. Alcohol tests conducted the night of the crash were negative as well.

The Coast Guard continues its investigation into the crash that injured 15 people, two seriously, although no one suffered life-threatening injuries.
