Wareham Police have arrested two people on drug possession and trafficking charges.
Christine Quinn, 28, of 8 Ladd Ave and Mario Ogletree, 30, of 2 Cranberry Lane had been the subject of a month’s long investigation into the distribution of heroin and Fentanyl throughout the Wareham area.
Wareham Detectives arrested the pair when they went to a wooded area that detectives learned was used to hide packaged heroin ready to be sold. At that location, detectives found about 308 grams of suspected heroin inside a piece of PVC pipe with an estimated street value of $30,000.
Police executed a search warrant at Quinn’s residence in Wareham. A search there turned up a plastic bag containing about 20 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and more than $18,000 in cash. Police also seized a vehicle owned by Ogletree.
The two were arraigned in Wareham District Court the drug charges and Quinn was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant.
