Mashpee Man Sentenced Over Major Pot Operation


Close-Up Of Marijuana PlantsA Mashpee man has been sentenced to 6-1/2 years in prison for running a major marijuana operation and laundering the resulting money.

David Landry, 29, was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Boston. Landry was also sentenced to three years of supervised release.

The charges stem from a 2015 case. Prosecutors say Landry, his mother Diane Johnson, and two others were indicted on the charges, in addition to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Landry is currently serving a 4-year sentence for distributing heroin. The federal sentence will run concurrently with the state sentence.
