The National Weather Service is forecasting the potential for gale-force wind gusts and hazardous seas from today through the upcoming weekend.
There could be gusts of 40-miles-per-hour or higher over the outer southern coastal waters.
Offshore seas of 10-to-15-feet are expected by midweek, with the potential of 15-to-20-feet by Friday.
The conditions may deteriorate rapidly, especially in exposed waters and areas outside of harbor protections.
Mariners are encouraged to take appropriate precautions before the conditions deteriorate.
