A man is facing charges after his boat ran aground near Great Point on Saturday night.
According to the Nantucket Current, officers were called to the scene after receiving a call from the public and when they arrived, they found the 30-foot, Jupiter center console powerboat along the eastern shoreline.
The two people who were on the boat were not injured.
The owner has been charged with boating under the influence of alcohol.
