The Dennis-Yarmouth School District has renewed the contract of Superintendent Dr. Marc J. Smith.
Dr. Smith's new contract will run through June 30th, 2028. Dennis-Yarmouth School Committee Chair Tomas Tolentino says Smith's steady leadership, collaborative approach, and focus on continuous improvement have been instrumental in moving the district forward.
He says the School Committee is confident that Dr. Smith's continued leadership will help to build on recent progress and achieve the goals outlined in the strategic plan.
Smith has served as superintendent since 2023.
