Oral rabies vaccines are going to be airdropped on parts of the Cape today.
The Cape Cod and Southeast Massachusetts Rabies Task Force will be conducting its annual bait distribution effort to keep racoon-variant rabies from returning to Barnstable County.
Baits will be dropped in Barnstable, Bourne, Falmouth and Sandwich.
The baits won't make pets or people sick, but if you spot one, it's best to steer clear.
