Rescue personnel responded to separate incidents involving vessels over the weekend.
In Truro, a vessel began to take on water off of the ocean side of the town at around 6 p.m., and the Coast Guard plus a commercial salvage company responded to stabilize the situation. No injuries were reported.
On Saturday afternoon, a vessel apparently lost power at the west end of the Cape Cod Canal near the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
The Wareham Department of Natural Resources says a strong eastbound current took the large motor yacht into the land cut, turning it sideways and backwards, narrowly missing the Buzzards Bay side of the Railroad Bridge.
The vessel then drifted toward the banks of the Canal where patrols were able to get a towline to the crew and tow it to safety without further incident.
