Study Shows Cape Water Quality Remains A Concern

A new report indicates that water quality remains a top concern on Cape Cod.

The State of the Waters Cape Cod report indicates that wastewater from septic systems continue to impact coastal embayments.

Chemicals from fertilizers and storm water runoff are also impacting the water quality.

The report also finds that public drinking water remains positive, with 19 of 21 public water supplies receiving an excellent score in the Association to Preserve Cape Cod report.
