Barnstable County Commissioners have approved the Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2026 through 2030.
The commissioners proposed 11-point-45-million-dollars in capital expenditures, saying the funding supports infrastructure and operational needs.
Children's Cove and the Facilities Department account for more than ten-million-dollars of the total budget.
During Wednesday's meeting, County Administrator Michael Dutton outlined his goals for the coming year, focusing on maintaining a structurally balanced budget, advancing efficiency in governance, and enhancing water quality initiatives.
