Fire crews from neighboring towns responded to Yarmouth Sunday evening to assist with knocking down a fire at the old Anthony's Cummaquid Inn on Route 6A.
The fire broke out at around 6:30 Sunday evening and the mutual aid crews responded after a second alarm was called.
Firefighters took a defensive posture at the scene and fought the blaze from the outside of the building.
The building partially collapsed but no injuries were reported.
The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
