Barnstable County and Nantucket are included in a Red Flag Warning due to an extreme risk of fires today.
The area is experiencing critical fire weather conditions and fires may spread quickly and become difficult to extinguish due to low humidity and high wind gusts.
The warning will be in effect from eight-o'clock this morning until seven-o'clock tonight and outdoor burning is not recommended.
