The Town of Barnstable is reminding the public that contractors are scheduled to begin construction today, along Ocean and Gosnold streets in Hyannis.
The work on Ocean Street will take place in the area between the John F. Kennedy Memorial and Hawes Avenue.
Gosnold Street construction will take place between Sea and Ocean streets where crews will be working on pedestrian access, a new entrance to Kalmus Beach and extensions of the existing water main.
The road work is scheduled for 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday - through winter and possibly into early spring.
There will be access to residences and businesses throughout the project.
