Seafloor Debris Recovery Underway At Vineyard Wind Turbine Site

Debris recovery has begun on the seafloor under the broken Vineyard Wind turbine.

According to turbine manufacturer GE Vernova, the cleanup efforts began Sunday using a specially equipped vessel and a crew that's experienced in recovering subsea debris.

The company says it's continuing to implement the Blade Incident Response and Action Plan that was shared in August.

There is no information on when the cleanup efforts will conclude.
