Dennis voters will head to the polls today for a special town election.
The polls are open now in all five precincts and they close at eight-o'clock tonight.
The only ballot question deals with a proposition two-and-a-half override so the town can start the first phase of a 248-million-dollar wastewater upgrade plan.
The proposed plan includes a new treatment plant off Theo Smith Road and construction of a sewer collection system for the Route 28 business district and communities along Route 134 and the Bass River.
