Barnstable is hosting its Adult Community Safety Day from 1:00 until 5:00 this afternoon.
There will be more than 30 professional and government agencies taking part, offering live demonstrations, information sessions and interactive exhibits to help older adults learn how to safeguard themselves and their loved ones.
There will be emergency preparedness resources, health tips and information on how to spot and report internet and phone scams.
The event takes place at the Barnstable Adult Community Center.
