State Rep Peake Leaves Legislature For Healey Administration

Sarah Peake is now a member of the governor's office.

The 66-year-old P-town State Rep resigned from the House of Representatives on Sunday and started her new gig today as the Healey administration's senior advisor for intergovernmental affairs.

Peake's Fourth Barnstable District seat will remain vacant until the winner of the November election is sworn-in January.

Right now, it appears that Democrat Hadley Luddy of Orleans will be taking that seat as she's running unopposed.
