Chatham is welcoming a new police officer to the force.
Officer Jordyn Gagliardi is graduate of Fitchburg State.
While going through the University program plus the Police Program simultaneously she attained the highest physical fitness scores.
"Jordyn was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society and was the Treasurer of the Criminal Justice Club.
She has also completed internships at the Ayer and Lunenburg Police Departments."
Gagliardi will now take part in field training and rotations in order to get familiar with both the department and her new service area.
