Chatham Approves Funding For 90 Bridge Street

There was one Article under consideration at Monday's Special Town Meeting in Chatham and it dealt with funding for the 90 Bridge Street project.

The Town purchased the waterfront parcel in 2014 to provide additional waterfront access for the public and some work has already been completed.

Last night's meeting was held to vote on funding for new piers, floats and the re-use of the historic Coast Guard Boathouse for a shellfish upweller.

There were 574 residents at the meeting and the Article passed by a vote of 462-to-99.
