Police officers armed with rifles led to anxious moments for residents of one Yarmouth neighborhood early yesterday morning.
Cops responded to a 911 call from a home on Hamblin Hill Road where a woman said some strange men armed with guns were outside her place and may have been there for her boyfriend.
Officers were able to make peaceful contact with the strangers and pat downs came up empty.
It was a different story for the boyfriend though as he was cuffed and hauled away while spouting off all of the most colorful curses he could muster.
It's unclear what sort of charges he may be facing.
