Barnstable Superior Court is not generally thought of as a place where there's a lot of excitement, but that wasn't the case Monday morning.
A prisoner tried to make a break for freedom shortly after 8:00, but police and court personnel were able to quickly reel them in.
The person was packed up in an ambulance and taken to Cape Cod Hospital for mental and physical evaluations.
Jatayvyn Stone Crayton, 25, of West Yarmouth, was arrested Sunday evening on three outstanding warrants and held in police custody until his transfer to court.
Additional charges are pending.
