Massachusetts State Police say a 41-year-old woman from Florida was killed when she lost control of her moped and crashed into a jeep in Oak Bluffs, Thursday.
Police say Julia Harris was thrown from the bike and was declared dead at the scene.
A passenger not identified was taken to a Boston hospital.
Police say both victims were wearing helmets.
Troopers say the jeep and moped were headed in opposite directions, when the moped crossed the median and struck the jeep.
State Police are still investigating.
