A developer has been chosen for a big affordable housing project in Harwich.
The trust overseeing the effort voted unanimously Tuesday to hire Pennrose to design and build the 60-unit complex on six acres of the old Marceline property on Queen Anne Road.
Pennrose blew away the other two companies that bid on the project in most every category, from affordability to design to experience.
The trust has 90 days to nail down a final contract with the developer.
