Harwich Drought Over In Cape Cod League Championship

The 13-year drought is over for the Harwich Mariners.

They edged out the Bourne Braves, 4-to-3 in last night's decisive Game Three at Doran Park to win the Cape Cod Baseball League championship.

Harwich jumped out to an early lead and hung on for the one-run victory.

the Mariners' sixth-ever league title, with the first coming in 1933 and the most recent in 2011.

Mariners catcher Wilson Weber out of Oregon State was named Playoff MVP.
