It was a full eight hours before the effects of a rush hour crash in Eastham were cleared on Thursday.
A crossover vehicle slammed into a utility pole on Route 6 near Governor Prence Road around 4:00 and took out part of someone's fence but the driver escaped injury.
Detours were in place while a tow truck removed the vehicle and Eversource crews replaced the pole and rewired everything.
The scene didn't clear until almost midnight.
