Repairs Being Made On Yarmouth Gas Line Break

It's going to be a slow-go through Yarmouth for a while as utility crews are tending to a gas line break.

The line ruptured on Old Main Street near the intersection with Wood Road and River Street shortly before 9:00 Tuesday morning.

Old Main is closed to traffic at that corner, so the primary option for drivers is Route 28 until the line is repaired.

Motorists should be prepared for delays approaching the Old Main/Main Street split.
