As forecasters watch for developing storms in the Atlantic, the Sandwich Office of Emergency Management is urging hurricane preparedness.
NOAA predicts up to 13 storms will become hurricanes this season and the SOE recommends that residents sign up for Sandwich 311 and prepare an emergency kit with water, food and medications.
Residents in areas with a high flood risk should make sure they know the evacuation zones and emergency corridors.
