Last Month's Dolphin Stranding Largest In History

Last month's dolphin stranding off Wellfleet was the largest-ever in the nation.

That's according to the International Fund for Animal Welfare says 146 animals were stranded in the mudflats, making it the largest mass stranding event in U.S history.

Officials say the event, which began on June 28th, saw more stranded dolphins than the group has seen over any two-year period.
