Word overnight that Big Lots is closing 40 stores nationwide.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company says it operates almost 14 hundred stores nationwide, including one in Dennis Port, just outside of Hyannis.
The company isn’t saying which stores will close at this time.
