The Yarmouth Fire Department called in the State Police Bomb Squad to assist in getting rid of illegal fireworks found on Windmill Beach.
Fire officials say a concerned citizen reported the fireworks Tuesday morning and expressed concern because they had not ignited.
Emergency crews responded and secured the fireworks.
No one was injured.
The Fire Department says fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts, unless they are set off by a licensed professional with the proper permits.
