Chatham Gets Best Rating From Standard And Poor's

Standard & Poor's Global Ratings has assigned its Triple-A rating to Chatham for a nine-point-five-million-dollar general obligation bond issuance.

In addition, S&P reaffirmed the Town's bond rating on existing debt with a stable outlook.

The bond proceeds will finance the town's wastewater and water infrastructure improvement projects.

Triple-A is the highest bond rating for municipalities.
