Power outages have been reported after a driver crashed into a utility pole near Sandwich Wednesday night.
The accident happened at around 8 p.m. at Route 130 and Service Road leaving two-thousand Eversource customers in Sandwich and Bourne without power.
The driver involved in the crash fled the scene, but police were able to locate the vehicle and detain the driver on suspicion of operating under the influence.
Most of the power outages have been restored, but there may still be a couple of hundred customers without service.
