An accident in Tisbury Saturday morning made for traffic tie-ups and some downed power lines, but no reports of injuries.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 am when a dump truck traveling on State Road went out of control and hit a utility pole, plus a tractor-trailer near the intersection of Look Street.
Part of the latter vehicle's load of gravel was lost.
The driver of the dump truck reported a brake failure.
The cause remains under investigation.
