The state House budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year includes 739-million-dollars for public transit agencies.
The plan calls for 555-million-dollars to go to the MBTA, with the rest of the money delivered to the state's 15 regional transit agencies.
That's well over the 314-million-dollars in emergency aid for the MBTA that was proposed by Governor Maura Healey in her budget plan.
House Speaker Ron Mariano is expected to release the full details of the House budget plan today.
