The Steamship Authority is waiving change and cancellation fees for any trips booked for today and Thursday morning.
The move comes as forecasters are calling for strong winds that could reach gale force as a storm blows across the C-and-I.
The ferry service is advising travelers to check ahead for possible disruptions on both routes today and Thursday.\
